Intro to Tech for Kids

In Perfect Computing’s Intro To Tech – Coding For Kids class your child will be heavily involved with hands on learning. Todays classrooms are usually filled with paperwork and lectures. Rarely do kids get to handle real life examples of the item they’re learning, which is why we at Perfect Computing thought our offices would make a perfect classroom. We have live hardware samples that your child will be able to touch and learn on as their interests in technology GROW!

We invite you and your children to visit our learning center in our Boise office to kick off your children’s interests and learn with experienced professionals who grew up with the same interests, and have made careers in IT their livelihood!

What will your child learn in our Intro class?

This class is broken out into 6 sections:

  • How Computers Work
  • What is Software
  • What is Hardware
  • How to keep a PC running smooth
  • Intro to RaspberryPi Learning Computers for Kids
  • Coding Syntax and how code works

The entire class is built around basic concepts that will engage and teach children from ages 8 – 12. (Many parents should find the class fun too!) However the class welcomes children of all ages based on technical ability.

How much does it cost?

Registration fees are $170 per child. This includes 6 classes (1 per week) for 1 hour per class. This registration fee also provides a RaspberryPi learning kit* for each child so when they go home they can continue to learn and have fun using fundamental knowledge they will learn in the class.

If interested, please register and select your class using the schedule below. We only accept 8 children per class to make sure we are able to provide each child with individualized instruction to help ensure each child understands the concepts we teach.
